Goods will be despatched first class tracked as soon as possible and usually within 24 hours of ordering. Found your dream guitar but how do you get it home ? We ship world wide, fully insured, at customer’s expense. Please contact us for an international shipping quote.
Alternatively we are happy to securely pack instruments, free of charge, to be collected by the buyer’s own courier. Please phone or email to enquire on delivery options. Payments must be received in full cleared funds, in Sterling, before goods are shipped. Where payment is received by card delivery can only be to the authorised card address.
International customers please note All VAT, taxes, duties or other charges related to import and shipping are the responsibility of the buyer. Please be very wary of airlines and airport security. Do not take for granted any reassurances on safe transit or permission to carry on board. This is usually the ultimate decision of the airport security operators and not the airline.
Seven Day Money Back terms – any goods can be returned for any reason within seven working days from receipt of goods for a refund, less our carriage costs. We must be notified by email firstname.lastname@example.org or in writing at 7 Woolpack Lane, Nottingham, NG1 1GA should you wish to make a return. Returned goods must be in their original condition and packaging. If you decide that you do not wish to keep an item you can return it to us at your own expense, including shipping and Customs costs. The Returns Policy does not apply to instruments or products inspected by the customer at our premises before purchase.
Refunds can only be made by the original payment method. Outbound costs incurred will not be refunded whether the item was shipped free of charge or otherwise. All returned items must be insured at their full value at the customer’s expense and remain the customer’s responsibility and risk until received in good order by Nottingham City Guitars. Signature for receipt of returned packages is not deemed proof of good order. The customer has a duty to maintain, secure and take reasonable care of the goods while in their possession. The customer has a duty to properly pack goods for return to avoid transit damage.
Instruments and goods that have been altered, tampered with or damaged cannot be returned. Instruments cannot be returned as faulty or defective where a specific defect was previously advised to the customer at or before the point of sale. This includes information and photo’s listed on our website. We would prefer all customers to inspect and play their chosen instrument before purchase. Custom/bespoke orders cannot be returned unless agreed in writing prior to purchase.
The customer must comply with, obtain all necessary paperwork and pay all charges relating to CITES (convention on international trade in endangered species of wild fauna & flora) applications for returned goods. This generally only applies to guitars with Brazilian Rosewood parts. You will be advised prior to purchase if this is applicable and Nottingham City Guitars will provide you with the appropriate export paperwork when you purchase from us.
